Clinical Expertise
I have more than 27 years of clinical experience in Periodontology and Implantology. Throughout my career, I have focused on the diagnosis and management of complex periodontal conditions and implant-related complications.
Moreover, I apply evidence-based treatment principles and combine surgical precision with long-term maintenance strategies. This approach supports predictable and stable clinical outcomes.
In particular, I have developed expertise in advanced implant solutions, including ultra-short and short implants, ceramic implants, and the use of L-PRF in regenerative procedures. I also manage peri-implant diseases, perform bone augmentation, and treat high-risk or compromised cases.
Therefore, this depth of clinical experience supports my work as an expert witness. It enables me to deliver clear, objective, and well-reasoned opinions in medico-legal cases.
Academic Roles
I hold academic positions as a Professor in Armenia and India. In parallel, I work as a Senior Lecturer with Tipton Training in the United Kingdom.
Through these roles, I contribute to postgraduate education and support the ongoing development of dental practitioners. My teaching focuses on Periodontology, Implantology, and advanced surgical techniques.
Furthermore, I base my teaching on both scientific evidence and extensive clinical experience. This allows me to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I have trained clinicians at different stages of their careers, with a strong focus on treatment planning, complication management, and long-term outcomes.
Consequently, my academic work ensures that my expert witness opinions remain aligned with current standards and evolving clinical guidelines.
Medico-Legal
I provide independent expert witness services in cases involving Periodontology and Implantology. I accept instructions from claimants, defendants, and as a Single Joint Expert.
My work covers breach of duty, causation, and condition and prognosis. In addition, I assess treatment planning, surgical execution, and post-operative care.
I hold the Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) Expert Witness Certificate. This reflects formal training in civil procedure, report writing, and courtroom skills. Furthermore, I work in accordance with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules and remain aware of Part 36 procedures.
I prepare reports that meet the requirements of an independent expert. Each report provides clear, objective, and evidence-based opinions to assist the court. I also analyse clinical records, radiographs, and treatment outcomes in detail. As a result, my opinions remain balanced and withstand legal scrutiny.
