Independent Opinion

My duty as an expert witness is to court. I provide independent, objective opinions based on my clinical and academic expertise, in accordance with CPR 35. Instructions are accepted from claimant, defendant, and as a single joint expert.

  • Failure to Diagnose: assessment of whether relevant clinical signs and symptoms were appropriately identified and acted upon in a timely manner
  • Treatment Planning: evaluation of the appropriateness and sequencing of proposed or delivered treatment in relation to the patient’s condition.
  • Radiographic Interpretation: assessment of the adequacy and interpretation of radiographs in supporting diagnosis and clinical decision-making.
  • Specialist Referral: evaluation of whether referral to a specialist was indicated and undertaken in accordance with accepted standards of care.
